Bethany's two little ones, Autumn and Riley Rae, were hanging out with Aunt Ruth in her room.

It was nap time, so Autumn felt the need to hold on to Riley for comfort!

Looks like mission accomplished! Big sister Riley's comforting hand is just the connection needed to induce peaceful sweet sleep for younger little sister Autumn.

Sibling bonds are a lot stronger than most people realize! That's the reason we have always fought to keep our children with as many of their siblings as we possibly could. When a child goes into foster care they have lost everything familiar in their lives. Their siblings are all that they have left of anything that is familiar that could possibly bring comfort in a horrifying situation. Prospective foster and adoptive parents please keep this in mind when you are looking at parenting a child from a world of scary brokenness! Siblings need each other!
