Tidbit Tuesday / Old Plaque with Powerful Message

When Billy and I were setting up housekeeping 46 years ago, there was an old sign that was propped up on the mantle in the old house we would start our married lives in.

Here's the Holy message that it loudly proclaimed!

We have sought to practice it. No we haven't always hit the mark, but it was always in my heart to try! My heart's desire is that it would always be TRUTH!

What about you? Could you hang this little plaque in your home and it be Truth? Would Jesus as the Head of your home, as the unseen Guest, as the silent Listener, be pleased with everything He's seen and heard there in the past 24 hours?

Let's be mindful that He always sees, hears, and knows . . . and that even when we miss the mark, He loves us! And let's model that kind of unconditional love to our children, because they are seeing and hearing more than we realize.
