13 1/2 Years Ago:Henry Batts, our son-in-love, with his lovely wife Diana began his career as a GA State Trooper.
He has faithfully served his community and our state well.
As he completes this leg of his adventures as a GA State Patrol Trooper, he begins an even more exciting season.
Our daughter Diana tells it beautifully in her own words:
This has been a bitter sweet week for us! It’s the end of a chapter in the lives of Henry, the girls, and me. For the last 13 and a half years we have known one thing and that’s the Georgia State Patrol. Thank you so much to Post 16 for what y’all did for Henry! It meant the world to us!!! And for the ones who came, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! It has been a fun ride with just a handful of bad apples along the way. Henry has learned so much and made so many friends that became family, I couldn’t possibly begin to name or tag each of you.
With each chapter that ends, God always starts another! At the conclusion of his 13.5 years as a Georgia State Trooper, Henry, the girls, and I will now embark on a new adventure. He will begin his career with the United States Secret Service next month!! We are so excited and have prayed about this decision the whole time! Every time we started to doubt, God would give us such a peace, it would surpass understanding! He has opened doors satan has tried to close. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us as we put our hands in His and start this new chapter!!
