Throwback Thursday / 2000-Bethany's Prayer

Sweet Bethany came home to us in 1999 at age 5. We finalized her sibling group's adoption in October of that year.

It didn't take Bethany long to realize that she had a problem. Gabriel and Adam had each other to play boy stuff with, but Bethany didn't have a sister her age to play and share girlie toys and games. So, I told her that we just needed to pray. She began to faithfully pray for her sister to come home!

How many of you have learned that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think? Well, He can and He does!

In March 2001, He answered 6 year old Bethany's heartfelt prayer by not sending her ONE but THREE sisters her age to play with!!!
