Teaching Tuesday / The Gift of Work

Our son Ricky is passing on a priceless gift to his little daughter Aubreigh Ann. . . the gift of work!

In the natural, teaching your children how to work is one of the greatest gifts that you will ever give them.

Ricky is giving his little Aubreigh a priceless treasure. He lets her help him with everything. Sure, he could do it all 10 times faster without her little hands "assisting". He could probably finish every task in double quick time without her little inquisitive self right in the middle of everything her daddy does, but oh the teachable moments that he would have lost and the cherished memories they both wouldn't have. More importantly, the seeds sown in Aubriegh's little soul of learning the value of working would never have been planted, so there would never be a harvest of good working ethics in her life! Good job, Ricky!

Parents, let me share a word of wisdom. If you take the time and energy to train your child in the importance of good work ethics, I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT!
