Faithful Friday / My Opposite Twins -Adam and Gabriel!

As long as I can remember, I had always wanted twins. In 1996, I started getting "words" about twins, so I leaned to my own understanding. I assumed that God was saying that the little birth mom that was staying with us ,who was letting us adopt her baby, was having twins. After all, twins ran in her family, so that just sealed it in my mind.

I didn't care what the sonogram showed. I truly believed with everything in me it was twins! I was in the delivery room with our little birth mom when she gave birth to Gabriel. After he was born, I remember thinking, "Good! Now they can see the other baby!" But there was no 2nd baby, and the devil began to taunt me with these words, "Hath God said?"

The same tormenting question he asked Eve in the garden. Gabriel has some complications after his birth. He had to have a temporary colostomy bag attached at 2 1/2 weeks of age, but what tormented my soul was the fear and doubt that the devil was creating in me about being able to hear God's word. If I couldn't hear Him, understand Him, how could I have relationship with me? I went into what some call "the dark night of the soul."

But in September, I had a dream. In the dream, I had one baby in my arms up close, and another baby with darker skin and dark hair a long ways off in the distance. When I woke up, I felt like God was showing me the twins that I thought He had said, and peace was restored to my soul.

It was two and a half years before I would see the manifestation of that dream. Little Adam and his sibling group were in Texas, and wouldn't come home until the spring of 1999. At last, my opposite twins were together like God had shown me. He is so very faithful !!!

Oh, I forgot to mention, Adam's birthday is in September! The very month that our All-seeing God showed me in a dream that he was a long ways off! Ain't God GOOD!
