Faithful Friday / Poor Connection Causes Strain!

Just like the whimsical strain that these two chickens around each corner are experiencing by each tugging on the same worm, I realized recently that any poor connection also causes a strain!

Let me explain -

I had a short in my fuse box in the natural, and with it God gave me the revelation that there has also been a "short" in my soul, where His full power hasn't been fully connected. This "short" was preventing the fullness of His Holy Spirit power from surging through me.

The disconnect in the fuse box at the input source was preventing the large air conditioner motor to work properly as it should. It was straining, trying repeatedly to engage and do it's job at maximum capacity. It was surging forward trying to engage to on position, but was incapable of doing so because connection to the Source was being hindered. It wasn't properly connected in the first place.

The entire fuse box had to be removed and rewired! Costly and time consuming, but necessary if I am to eliminate the poor connection that was causing the strain!

So too, in the spirit! I have to deal with my entire belief system of any wrong thinking. It must be removed and rewired. I remove wrong thought patterns by sitting at Jesus' feet and reading His Word. Repenting for believing the lies of the enemy, and replacing those areas with the truth of God from His Word.

I don't know about you, but I don't want any poor connection points with my Jesus that would cause strain in my life. It's time we checked our spiritual fuse boxes and see if there's a place of strain because of a poor connection with our Sweet Jesus!
