Faithful Friday / Faithful in Finances

I know to you this probably looks like a $1 bill, but to me it's soooo much more. To me it is a REMINDER of an All-seeing, All-knowing God's Faithfulness! Let me explain:

A few months ago when a brother lost his job, Holy Spirit impressed upon me to bless the man with $100. I'm ashamed to say because our finances are the worst they've been in 5 years that I didn't have the faith to give that sacrificially. So, I gave the man a $10 bill & told him that I knew it wasn't much but that I'd pray God would multiply it. Don't throw stones at me. Read on! I've repented! LOL!

The past few weeks I had really been seeking God about "Loving like Jesus", and through this season God had brought the man's situation back up to me several times. So, I approached the brother, asked him to forgive me for not obeying the Lord. I repented & gave him the remaining $90 like God had said. Even though my financial situation hadn't changed, I knew I had done the right thing!

Directly following that act of obedience, as I walked out into the church foyer, a precious little boy comes walking towards me holding out his hand like he's giving me something. I asked, "What is it?", but by this time I can see it's money. I thought he was just confused about where he was supposed to put it, so I pointed to the offering bag at the door, directing him to go give it to the man taking up the offering. He shook his head, and said,

"No! I'm supposed to give it to you!"

I just about lost it!😭😭😭 I thanked him, hugged him , & told him what a sweet boy he is! - fighting back tears the entire time. That sweet little boy, not only hears Holy Spirit, but he obeys Him immediately as well. I wish I was more like him!

God used that precious child to remind me that Our Faithful Father sees & knows All, and that He has my finances under control!!!
