Faithful Friday / 3 Babies At 53!

The year 2011! Their ages: 20 1/2 mo., 2 weeks, and 50 mo. !!!
And my age? I was 53 at the time, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the many reasons that people call me crazy! LOL!
And I am - crazy that is! Crazy in love with my Jesus! Just crazy enough to believe and obey Him when He calls me to do the IMPOSSIBLE! And this wasn't possible! Oh, did I mention that we had 10 other children in the home, also. These three's 3 older siblings plus 7 other children. I did say impossible, didn't I?
Now before you go to thinking this is a Bonnie Brag - nothing could be further from the truth! I just want to share with you some gold nuggets that I've discovered about how amazingly faithful our Awesome Heavenly Father is! BTW, I call Him, DADDY G!
In Matthew 19:26, Jesus says,
"With man (or one woman named, Bonnie) this is IMPOSSIBLE, but with God (my Sweet DADDY G) ALL things are possible."
Can you can imagine being 53 with 13 children at home? Oh, did I mention that we had 14 grown children also? and any parent can tell you that just because they are out of the house that doesn't mean you stop parenting nor do they stop being on your heart.
Here's the good part! NOT ONCE did our FAITHFUL FATHER leave me or forsake me. He was my Refuge, my Mighty Strong Tower when I was so tired that I would forget to eat. He was my Strength when I was having to get up at night with 4 of the younger children all in one night, every night, for months on end. He was my Shield when we were cussed out because of the color of our children's skin. He was my Joy and Peace, when I would look at the smiles on my children's precious faces. He was my EVERYTHING THAT I NEEDED . . . HE WAS (and IS) FAITHFUL!
You might ask was it hard. The answer is yes, it was hard. But even in the hard, He was FAITHFUL, AND I'M HERE TO TELL YOU IT WAS WORTH IT! THESE CHILDREN ARE WORTH IT! THEIR LITTLE LIVES AND SOULS ARE WORTH IT! and I would do it all over again, because I can't imagine my life without the first one of my children. They are each precious beyond words, and I am so very humbled that He allowed me the honor of proving His Faithfulness . . . over and over again!
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I want to take an minute to challenge you. Maybe He's calling you to step out and do the IMPOSSIBLE with Him! Maybe, just maybe, He has whispered His heart into your heart for His orphans? If He has, I can promise you with every fiber of my being, He will EMPOWER you to do what He's calling you to do! He just needs your willing heart. He will faithfully take care of the rest.
Then you too might also have the honor of being called crazy. But don't fret. You would be in good company! They called Jesus crazy, too! LOL!
